Why install an in-line filter?

Your car's air conditioning system relies on A/C compressor oil to be circulated throughout the system and maintain compressor lubrication. In fact, the a/c compressor is the only reason your car's air conditioning system has oil in it. There are no other components that require lubrication, and on orifice tube systems, the A/C compressor is the only moving part!

When the air conditioning system starts to get contaminated, (because of moisture) harmful acids are formed. Those acids cause corrosion and debris. That corrosion easily can restrict an orifice tube or expansion valve. When that happens, the flow of oil to your compressor stops!

When you install an in-line A/C filter, you provide a much larger filter surface. Above that, the filter is designed to trap and hold more contamination and debris. That way, you will always maintain a flow of refrigerant oil to your A/C compressor.

It's a must to install an in-line filter to meet compressor manufacturer's warranty. This filter will meet those warranties and help prevent future failures

The orifice tube is mounted in-line between the condenser and the evaporator.

The filter should be installed in the LIQUID LINE BEFORE the orifice tube.

THERMOSTATIC EXPANSION VALVES, the valve would be in place of the orifice tube

COMPRESSOR MANUFACTURES DO NOT  RECOMMEND FLUSHING THE CONDENSER WITH SOLVENT                   SOLVENT RESIDUE DILUTES COMPRESSOR OIL AND LEADS TO COMPRESSOR FAILURE.

.ONCE INSTALLED ON VEHICLE FILTER IS SERVICEABLE.

COMPRESSOR MANUFACTURERS  RECOMMEND INSTALLING THE LIVE FLUSH FILTER IN THE  LIQUID LINE AND DO A LIVE FLUSHING.

AFTER INSTALLING THE LIVE FLUSH FILTER AND EVACUATING AND CHARGING TO FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS ALLOW THE SYSTEM TO RUN FOR 45 MINUTES.

AFTER THE LIVE FLUSH PERIOD, REMOVE FREON, REMOVE FILTER, IF FILTER ELEMENT IS DIRTY, CLEAN AND RE-INSTALL.

NOW YOU WILL ONLY REPLACE HOPELESSLY

CLOGGED CONDENSERS THAT ARE INEFFICIENT

AND ACTUALLY AFFECTING SYSTEM PERFORMANCE.

NOW YOU WILL HAVE REAL PEACE OF MIND KNOWING THAT YOUR NEWLY INSTALLED COMPRESSOR CAN'T BE RUINED BY HIDDEN CONDENSER DEBRIS THAT MAY BREAK LOOSE AFTER YOU FINISH THE JOB.

WHERE IS THE STRAIGHT LIQUID LINE?

IF YOU HAVE A ORIFICE TUBE SYSTEM THE LINE IS BETWEEN THE CONDENSER AND THE ORIFICE TUBE   CLICK HERE

IF YOU HAVE A EXPANSION VALVE SYSTEM THE LINE IS BETWEEN THE CONDENSER  AND THE RECEIVER DRIER.  CLICK HERE
